Sam Allen is the owner of Sam Allen Interiors, an interior design firm located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Sam’s style is clean and comfortable and en- compasses themes all the way from Organic Elegance to Parisian Hollywood Glamour.
Named by House Beautiful as its Next Wave Designer for its December/January 2013 issue. His designs have been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, House Beautiful, Vogue, Luxe Magazine, Teen Vogue, At Home, Martha’s Vineyard Magazine, and Connecticut Cottages & Gardens.
Sam was just 19 years old when his career took off, when the late Albert Hadley chose him as one of twelve designers to take part in his “Rooms With A View” show house. Sam was the youngest designer ever to participate in Hadley’s annual exhibition. Soon thereafter, Sam’s talent and drive landed him on the cover of The New York Times Home section.
Sam’s work and story have since been featured on regional and national television programs such as CBS This Morning, The Rachael Ray Show, Fox Connecticut, and, as an on air monthly contributor, for Better Connecticut. Sam was also the youngest designer ever to have a Tastemaker Tag Sale on One Kings Lane.
With mounting recognition, Sam is taking his love for design far and wide serving dozens of clients throughout the Northeast.
